NO. 7/9 Nevada hosts BYU in season opener Tuesday
• Nevada will host BYU in the season opener for both schools on Tuesday. The game will tip at 8 p.m. and is airing on CBS Sports Network.
• The Wolf Pack is ranked seventh in the preseason AP Poll. The highest ranking in school history. The Pack is ninth in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll.

Caleb Martin is Nevada's first preseason All-America selection being named to the AP and ESPN teams.
• Nevada returns three starters in
Jordan Caroline,
Caleb Martin and
Cody Martin. All three were selected to the MW preseason team. The trio combined to average 49.7 points per game, 60 percent of the Pack's offense.
• The Pack welcomes four transfers in
Tre'Shawn Thurman,
Corey Henson, Nizré Zouzoua and
Jazz Johnson that sat out last season at Nevada. All four averaged double figures at their previous schools. Graduate transfer
Trey Porter is immediately eligible after coming from Old Dominion where he averaged 13.2 points and 6.2 rebounds
