RENO, Nev. (AP) — Ty Gangi threw for 404 yards and a career-high tying four touchdowns and Devonte Lee had a pair of 1-yard scoring runs to help Nevada beat Colorado State 49-10 on Saturday night and become bowl eligible.
Gangi completed 28 of 35 passes with no interceptions and Romeo Doubs had eight receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
Gangi hit Doubs for a 20-yard TD midway through the first quarter and then sandwiched scoring strikes to Elijah Cooks and Doubs around Lee's first touchdown run in the second quarter to make it 28-0 at the break. Gangi's final TD pass, a 28-yarder to Kaleb Fossum with 1:42 left in the third made it 49-0.
Preston Williams had seven receptions for 69 yards and touchdown for Colorado State (3-7, 2-4 Mountain West), which has lost three in a row.
Nevada (6-4, 4-2) had 636 total yards and 29 first downs.

- Nevada moves to 6-4 on the year and is now bowl eligible for the first time since 2015.
-The Wolf Pack defense held Colorado State to 260 total yards of offense when the Rams came into the game averaging 413.7 yards per game.
- On the opening drive, Asauni Rufus recorded his first interception of the season and third of his career.
- On Nevada's opening offensive drive, freshman Romeo Doubs caught a 20-yard touchdown for the first offensive score of his career.
- Freshman Romeo Doubs finished his night with a career-high eight catches, 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is the third Wolf Pack receiver to post a 100-yard receiving performance this season (McLane Mannix, Kaleb Fossum the others).
- Nevada's opening-drive touchdown was the third this season, and the most recent since Elijah Cooks' 40-yard TD reception at Air Force.
- Nevada shutout the Rams in the first quarter, the third time it has shutout a team in the opening quarter this season. The last time it happened was Oct. 6 against Fresno State.
- McLane Mannix caught his first pass of the contest near the end of the first quarter. He has now recorded at least one reception in all 22 games he has appeared in.
- In the second quarter, Dom Peterson and Lucas Weber combined for a sack for the Pack's first of the game. Peterson now has 3.5 sacks on the year and Weber has 2.5.
- In the second quarter, Elijah Cooks hauled in a 38-yard touchdown catch for his sixth of the year, tying him for the team high with McLane Mannix.
- Malik Reed recorded his 21st-career sack, putting him alone at fifth in Nevada history passing Lenny Jones. He is tied with Porter Gustin from USC for the seventh-most among active FBS players.
- Toa Taua broke off a 48-yard run in the second quarter, the second-longest of his career.
- Devonte Lee scored in the second quarter to give Nevada a 19-0 lead. It was his fourth touchdown of the season and his third consecutive game with a score.
- Dom Peterson recorded a solo sack at the end of the second quarter, giving him a career-high 1.5 for the game.
- Colorado State was held to zero first downs in the second quarter and only three in the first half.
- Doubs scored his second-career touchdown and second of the game with 1:02 remaining in the second half to put Nevada up 28-0.
- Nevada went the first three quarters shutting out CSU, and went five-straight quarters without allowing a point after shutting out San Diego State in the second half two weeks ago. This was the longest shutout streak for Nevada since 2011, when it shutout UNLV 37-0 and New Mexico for three quarters for seven total.
- Nevada's 21 points in the second quarter are the most it's scored since putting up 28 in the third quarter against Portland State.
- Devonte Lee scored his second touchdown of the game on the opening drive of the second half. He has now scored in three consecutive games, totaling five.
- Quarterback Ty Gangi threw for 404 yards and tied a career-high with four touchdowns. It was the third time in his career he threw for over 400 yards. He finished the game completing 28-of-35 of his passes, his best of the season.
- Daiyan Henley's 28-yard catch in the third quarter was his fifth of the season and first since Nevada's game at Toledo.
- The Rams did not cross midfield until the 5:54 mark in the third quarter.
- Senior Malik Reed tied a season-high with nine tackles.
- Kaleb Meder recorded a sack in the third quarter, now with 2.5 on the season.
- Kaleb Fossum scored his first-career offensive touchdown on a 28-yard pass from Gangi in the third quarter. Fossum previously led the nation in receiving yards without a touchdown.
-The all-time series between Nevada and Colorado State is now 12-4, in favor of the Rams. Nevada's last victory over CSU came in 2015 in a 28-23 victory in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl.
