Ty Gangi has now extended his streak to 25 consecutive games with a touchdown pass after finding Brendon O'Leary-Orange in the third quarter on a nine-yard touchdown pass.

Ty Gangi finished the contest with 314 yards passing, the fifth time eclipsing 300 this season.
- Nevada is currently a four-game win streak, its longest since winning five in a row in 2012.

Lucas Weber recorded career-highs with two sacks and three tackles for loss on the afternoon, leading the Pack in both categories.
- Baber recorded his team-high third interception of the season in the second quarter against San Jose State. The senior had recorded four interceptions off SJSU in six quarters against them, dating back to last season.
- The Pack edged the Spartans in total yardage 237-53 in the first half, and finished the game outgaining SJSU 463-200. San Jose State came into the game averaging 331 yards of total offense.
- The Spartans' two touchdowns of the game came on short fields, the first from the one-yard line after an interception and the second from their own 47-yard line after a Nevada punt from its own endzone.

Toa Taua eclipsed his single-game career-high in rushing attempts, finishing with 29. The Pack is 5-2 when Taua carries the ball 10 or more times this season.
- Taua eclipsed 100 yards rushing for the third time this season in the fourth quarter. He finished his day with 121, his third-most this season.

Chris Green forced his first fumble of his career in the first quarter.
- With a reception in the first quarter,
McLane Mannix has now caught a pass in all 23-career games he has played in.
- After a San Jose State touchdown in the first quarter to put the Spartans up 6-0, it ended a span of 94 minutes and 21 seconds of game time since Nevada trailed its opponent.
- Nevada's offense converted on two fourth-downs in the second quarter and finished 2-4 on the afternoon, and is now 14-23 on fourth down this year.
- With 1:48 remaining in the second quarter, a
Ty Gangi's TD scamper put Nevada up 7-6. It was his first rushing score since Toledo and his third of the season.

- Brendan O'Leary Orange caught a nine-yard pass from Gangi in the third quarter to tie his career-mark of four set last season.

Dom Peterson recorded his eighth tackle for loss in the fourth quarter, stuffing the Spartans on a fourth-and-one to give the ball back to the Pack offense.
