RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada football team and first-year head coach Jay Norvell will hold an open tryout for University students. The tryout will be Monday, Aug. 28 at Wolf Pack Park at 11 a.m.

Students interested in trying out for the team need to complete a number of steps prior to the workout. This includes:
  1. Complete and submit all required info to the football office in advance of the tryout date. This includes: the participation questionnaire, waiver form, insurance information and evaluation form.
  2. Complete required health screenings, including a physical, sickle cell test and EKG test.
  3. Contact Zach Machen (zmachen@unr.edu) with your name and student id number before the tryout.
You must bring all required paperwork to the tryout. If there are any missing documents, you will be ineligible to try out.
