STANFORD, Calif. - Following an under par round, Nevada junior Grant Booth moved his name up the leaderboard during the second round of NCAA Regionals at Stanford Golf Course.

Booth, who carded a 4-over par 74 on Monday, went low on Tuesday with a 1-under par round of 69. His strong play down the stretch advanced him 10 spots on the leaderboard and into a tie for 37th in the 75-player field. Among the 10 individuals in the event, Booth ranks fourth. The top five teams from each region along with the low individual not on one of those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.

Booth played a near flawless round of golf on Tuesday with blemishes on just two holes as he bogeyed No. 3 and committed a double bogey on No. 8. Starting his day on the back nine, Booth made par on his first 11 holes before the bogey on No. 3. He played solid golf down the stretch, coming in at 2-under par on his last six holes, which included four birdies.

Brad Dalke of Oklahoma sits atop the individual leaderboard at 11-under par and has a three shot lead over Maverick McNealy of Stanford. Collin Morikawa of California is in position to be the individual who will advance as he currently sits in the top five. No. 9 Baylor combined for an incredible team score of 265 on Tuesday, which is 15-under par. Baylor leads No. 4 Stanford for the team lead by seven strokes going into Wednesday's final round.
