FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team (8-12, 3-4 MW) ended their regular season with a loss at Mountain West foe Fresno State (16-12, 5-2 MW) 4-1 on Saturday. The Wolf Pack will partake in the Mountain West Tournament next weekend in Boise.

The Pack was able to get the first doubles victory of the day, a 6-2 win by Peter O'Donovan and Augustin Delahodde over Zdenek Derkas and Youssef Hassan on court No. 3. The Bulldogs would go on to win the next two doubles matches with a 7-5 victory over Robert Margitfalvi and Julien Evrard in the No. 2 doubles match and the point-clinching 7-6 victory on court No. 1 by Patrik Pech and Euan McIntosh against Mile Cilic and Kostya Nesterenko.

The Bulldogs would win three of the first four singles matches to clinch a 4-1 victory over the Wolf Pack. Xander Veys got the first singles victory for Fresno State when he defeated Evrard 6-2, 6-1 in straight sets on court No. 1. Mantas Bugailiskis would give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-7, 6-1 win over Cilic. O'Donovan of the Wolf Pack would pick up Nevada's lone point for the day when he defeated Jeremy Moser 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. Fresno State would get the clinching point on court No. 2 when Nesterenko fell to McIntosh 2-6, 6-1, 7-6.
