RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada men's tennis team (6-7) fell 4-2 to Northern Arizona (11-6) in a nonconference match on Saturday at the McArthur Tennis Center. The Wolf Pack is now 6-7 while the Lumberjacks improved to 11-6.
NAU won the No. 2 and 3 doubles matches to clinch the first point of the day.
The Pack's Kostya Nesterenko won 6-2, 6-2 on court four to tie the match. NAU regained the lead with a victory on court two but the Pack's Julien Evrard tied it once again with a three set, 1-6, 6-4 and 6-1 victory in the No. 1 singles match.
The Lumberjacks won the match after earning straight set victories on courts five and six.
Nevada will take on New Mexico (7-10, 0-1 MW) in a MW match at 12 p.m. on Sunday at the McArthur Tennis Center.
