COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nevada senior guard Marcus Marshall has been named Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played through Saturday, February 25. It is the second career MW weekly accolade for Marshall.

• Helped keep Nevada in a tie for first place in the Mountain West standings with a home victory over Boise State, 85-77, on Feb. 22 and a road win against rival UNLV, 94-58, on Feb. 25.
• Averaged 27.0 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals during the week.
• Was 15-of-16 from the charity stripe and connected on 14-of-29 shots (48.3 percent) from the field, including 11-of-18 from deep (61.1 percent) in the two games.
• Scored a game-high 26 points, making 15 free throws on 16 attempts, and dished out eight assists against Boise State, which was tied atop the MW standings at the time.
• Scored the Wolf Pack's final six points against the Broncos and 13 of Nevada's last 22 points.
• Against in-state rival UNLV, connected on 8-of-10 3-pointers, setting the program record for 3-pointers made in a single season (103) and becoming only the third MW player to make at least 100 shots from beyond the arc.
• Finished with 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting against the Rebels.
