RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada women's soccer team (1-11-0, 0-4-0 MW) battled valiantly for 99 minutes but fell 1-0 in overtime to Mountain West opponent Colorado College (4-5-3, 1-2-1 MW). Wolf Pack goalkeeper Lauryn Horstdaniel recorded a career-high 13 saves, tied for the third-most by a Nevada goalkeeper in one match and was the first time since Oct. 19, 2003.

The first 45 minutes of the match were dominated by defense, with only 10 shots being recorded between the two teams. Junior Rylee Peterson increased her team-leading shot total for the season to 19 after recording two on Sunday.

Horstdaniel would dominate the second half of the match, making nine saves to help force overtime with both teams scoreless. Lauren Milliet challenged Horstdaniel the most, putting five shots on goal and ultimately fed the pass to Jenna Wilt in the 99th minute that led to the game-winning overtime goal.

Peterson and freshmen Rachel Gensch and Hannah Souza all recorded a shot on goal for Nevada. The Wolf Pack has a chance next weekend to get some conference wins when they battle Wyoming and Colorado State in Mackay Stadium.
