NEVADA TO FACE UTAH STATE FOR FIRST TIME THIS SEASON
• The Nevada Wolf Pack (18-4, 7-2 MW), coming off a big week to claim sole possession of first in the Mountain West, will travel to Utah State (9-11, 3-6 MW) to face the Aggies for the first time this season.
• The Pack swept the Aggies last season, winning both games by five points. Both teams are
coming off a win in their last game.
• The matchup could be a high-scoring one as both teams rank near the top of the conference in field goal percentage, but can struggle at times defensively.
• Nevada has a young team. While seniors D.J. Fenner and Marcus Marshall are key figures on the team, they are the only upperclassman in a main rotation of seven that includes three sophomores and two freshmen.
• Four Wolf Pack players are averaging double figures in senior Marcus Marshall (21.1), sophomores Cameron Oliver (14.9) and Jordan Caroline (14.1), and senior D.J. Fenner (13.7).
• The Wolf Pack has won its last three road games, the longest streak since joining the Mountain West. Nevada also won three road games in a row in 2014.
