In his first season last year, Nevada head coach Eric Musselman started a tradition at home games of standing with his team in front of the student section as the Nevada band player the school song. The students and fans have quickly taken to the new tradition at Lawlor Events Center.
After the Wolf Pack's win over Air Force on Wednesday, a little something was added as members of the team went into the student section to thank them for their support. They have celebrated 13 consecutive home wins dating back to last season and the team is 8-0 at home this season. In less than two years the team is 24-3 at Lawlor under coach Musselman.
The Pack host Fresno State on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. in key Mountain West matchup. The Bulldogs won the first meeting 77-76 in Fresno, Calif., the only conference loss for the Wolf Pack.
