RENO, Nev. - University of Nevada head men's basketball coach Eric Musselman has added Marcus Whitt to his staff as a graduate assistant.
Whitt joins the staff after playing the last four seasons at Columbia College, a NAIA school located in Columbia, Mo. He played for Hall of Fame coach Bob Burchard. In his four seasons the Cougars posted a 122-17 record. As a freshman the Cougars posted a 32-0 regular season mark and were ranked No. 1 for the first time in school history. He is one of a select few who won 100 games while playing at Columbia College.
Originally from St. Louis, Mo. he was a four-year letter winner in basketball and track at Hickman High School. In May Whitt received his degree from Columbia College in business administration.
