2016-17 MW WBB Schedule Get Acrobat Reader

RENO, Nev. -- The 18-game Mountain West portion of the Nevada women's basketball team's 2016-17 schedule was announced today by the conference office.

The Wolf Pack will play eight home-and-home series and two one-time games again this season. Nevada will play just one game against Wyoming - in Reno on Jan. 14 - and Colorado State - in Fort Collins on March 3 to conclude the regular season. The Wolf Pack's non-conference schedule will be announced soon.

The Wolf Pack will open league play on Thursday, Dec. 29 at San Jose State before coming home to Lawlor Events Center on Dec. 31 for the MW home opener against Fresno State.

Nevada will hit the road for one game - at San Diego State on Jan. 4 - before coming home for a pair at Lawlor: Jan. 7 against New Mexico and Jan. 14 against Wyoming. A pair of road tilts follow, at Air Force on Jan. 18 and at Fresno State on the 21st.

The Wolf Pack returns home to play Boise State on the 25th and then closes out January on the 28th when it travels to New Mexico.

February opens with the Pack back at home to play host to Utah State on the 1st before the first of two Governor's Series matchups on the 8th against UNLV in Las Vegas. Nevada then comes back to Lawlor for two more contests, on the 11th against San Diego State and on the 15th against Air Force.

A pair of road games follow, with the Pack traveling to Utah State on the 18th and then to Boise State on the 22nd. Nevada then comes home for another showdown with UNLV on Feb. 25th to close out the month.

The Pack opens March at home for the regular-season Lawlor finale against San Jose State on the 1st. Nevada closes out the regular season at Colorado State on March 3.

The MW Championship is Mar. 7-11 in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus. All 11 Mountain West teams will participate in the tournament.
