RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada football team will host a Spring Sneak Peek open practice on Saturday, April 9, offering fans an exclusive opportunity to catch a glimpse of the 2016 Wolf Pack. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Due to renovations at Mackay Stadium, Nevada is unable to hold its traditional Silver and Blue Spring Game and will instead hold an open practice at Bishop Manogue High School in Reno. The practice is set for 1 to 3:30 p.m. PT at Bishop Manogue on April 9th.

Concessions at the practice will be provided by Brothers BBQ. Tailgating is allowed but no alcohol is permitted on the campus grounds. Nevada's band and cheer squad will be at the event, along with the ROTC cannon. Fans in attendance can also receive their schedule cards for the 2016 season. Autographs will be available following the practice.

Nevada's Sneak Peek open practice is the first opportunity to see the 2016 football team, which returns from a thrilling victory in the 2015 Arizona Bowl. Nevada is prone to return 14 starters from last year's squad that posted a 7-6 record and secured the fifth bowl victory in program history.

The Sneak Peek event will also provide fans with their first opportunity to see several new staff members in action. Tim Cramsey is Nevada's new offensive coordinator after leading one of the most dominant offenses in FCS the past three seasons at Montana State. Nevada also boasts a new offensive line coach in Jonathan Himebauch, who won a Rose Bowl with USC, and a new special teams coordinator and offensive assistant in Marc Nudelberg, who has worked under Jimbo Fisher and Bobby Bowden at Florida State.

Head coach Brian Polian and the Wolf Pack opens the 2016 on Sept. 3 at the to-be newly renovated Mackay Stadium. Season tickets are on sale for the upcoming season. Due to a high demand in the newly renovated sections, seats are limited. Call (775) 348-PACK to speak to a Wolf Pack representative today.
