RENO, Nev. - After a three-week break from competition, the University of Nevada (2-5) men's tennis team will compete in the Golden State Invitational this weekend. The GSI is being hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State and with impending weather some matches are scheduled to be played indoors. Friday's

Eight teams will compete in the event; Nevada, Eastern Washington, Saint Mary's, UT Arlington, Sacramento State, Portland, UC Davis and Sonoma State.

Nevada's first match is Friday at 1 p.m. versus Eastern Washington (8-7) at the Spare Time Indoor Tennis Center - Gold River, Calif. The Wolf Pack's second match is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at UC Davis (10-3). The remainder of Nevada's GSI matches will be set after Saturday's competition.

Andrew Poustie (8-3) and Mile Cilic (8-6) each have eight wins on the season. Poustie is 2-1 at #2 singles in duals and Cilic is 2-4 having played in spots two through four. Ryan Andrada has been playing #1 singles for the Pack and is 6-7 on the season and 2-4 in duals.

First-year head coach Sylvan Malroux has used 13 different doubles combinations this season and the team has posted 16-20 overall mark, 9-9 in duals. Robert Allan and Poustie have gone 2-2 on court one in the springs. Andrada and Robert Margitfalvi are 3-2 at #3 doubles in dual action.
