RENO, Nev. - The Nevada women's basketball team will hold its annual Play 4Kay pink game this Saturday, Feb. 20 as the Wolf Pack takes on UNLV at 4 p.m. from Lawlor Events Center. Saturday's game will be the second meeting this season between the Wolf Pack and Lady Rebels in the Governor's Series.

Nevada will go pink for cancer awareness and a number of activities are scheduled to raise funds for the Kay Yow Foundation, a non-profit organization named after the late North Carolina State coach whose mission is to help the fight against women's cancers.

A silent auction will be held during Saturday's game with items ranging from an autographed ball signed by Virgil Green and members of the Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos, dinner with women's basketball coach Jane Albright, a ball signed by Wolf Pack great Mimi Mungedi, among other items.

There are also a few spots remaining for the pink treadmill. With a $100 donation, participants can run or walk on the pink treadmill for a scheduled time during the game. Past pink treadmill participants include former Wolf Pack star Colin Kaepernick, Joe Crowley, among others. For more information, contact Janet Butler at (775) 682-6924 or janetbutler@unr.edu.

Fans who wear a pink shirt will receive free attendance, otherwise tickets will be $8. The Nevada Cheer team will also "pass-the-bucket" to help raise funds and canned food items will be collected as well.

Nevada has set a goal of raising $2,016 in 2016 for the Kay Yow Foundation. To donate, or for more information, visit Play4Kay.org.
