RENO, Nev. - After a two week break from competition the University of Nevada (1-4) women's tennis team returns to action with two matches in Texas this weekend. The Wolf Pack play at UT Arlington (1-0) on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT and SMU (5-0) on Sunday at 8 a.m. PT.

"The team keeps practicing hard and learning every single day," head coach Guillaume Tonelli said. "Every match this season will be a battle, and we are ready to fight. Our objectives are the Mountain West matches and the final tournament, it is all about the learning process at this point. "

The Pack last played three matches in Washington posting a 1-2 mark. Nevada lost to Eastern Washington and Gonzaga but defeated Montana 5-2 between the two setbacks.

Newcomer Claudia Herrero tops the team with 14 singles wins and is 4-1 in dual competition. Junior Sheila Morales is 8-4 on the season and is also 4-1 in dual play.

Morales and sophomore Blaga Delic boast the Pack's top doubles mark at 10-7. The duo has gone 1-1 in duals this season. Herrero and fellow newcomer Andriana Gergelyova are 5-6 on the season but dropped both of their dual outings.
