RENO, Nev. - The Mountain West announced each institution's non-conference opponents and dates, along with home and away conference opponents for the 2016 football season on Thursday. Dates for league games, television selections and kickoff times will be announced in the coming weeks.

Looking to build off last year's victory in the inaugural NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, Nevada opens the 2016 season on Sept. 3 against Cal Poly at a renovated Mackay Stadium. The Pack then travels to South Bend, Ind., for its second-ever game at Notre Dame on Sept. 10. Nevada returns to Mackay on Sept. 17, hosting Buffalo. The Wolf Pack closes its non-conference slate on Sept. 24 at Big Ten foe Purdue, which marks Nevada's first meeting against the Boilermakers in program history.

In Mountain West play, Nevada will play all five foes in the West Division while playing New Mexico, Utah State and Wyoming from the Mountain Division. The Wolf Pack will host Fresno State, San Diego State, Utah State and Wyoming and will travel to Hawai'i, New Mexico, San Jose State and UNLV in conference play.
