PACK RETURNS HOME FOR GAME AGAINST PACIFIC
• In what has become an annual game, the Nevada Wolf Pack will take on the Pacific Tigers
Tuesday night in Lawlor Events Center. The two teams have matched up every in every season since 2002 and have played each other a total of 101 times since 1914.
• Tuesday's game also marks Nevada's N7 game, a game to honor Native American Heritage month and raise awareness for the need to bring access to sports to Native American and
Aboriginial youth. Nevada will don turquoise uniforms for the game in collaboration with Nike.
• Senior Marcus Marshall has scored more than 20 points in the last four games and has surpassed the mark in five of the Pack's seven games this season.
• Getting the ball around has become a key part of the Wolf Pack offense. The Pack has 125 total
assists this season, which ranks 11th in the nation and first in the Mountain West. Sophomore
Lindsey Drew leads with 44 which is seventh in the nation and first in the conference.
• Five players in Marcus Marshall (20.4 ppg), Cameron Oliver (16.7 ppg), Elijah Foster (12.0 ppg), D.J. Fenner (10.4) and Jordan Caroline (10.0 ppg) are averaging double figures.
Wolf Pack Layups
• The Wolf Pack had its five game win streak snapped with a last-second loss to the Iona Gaels on Nov. 26 in the championship game of the Great Alaska Shootout.
• The five game win streak was the longest under head coach Eric Musselman.
• Sophomore Cameron Oliver has recorded 21 blocks already this season. He is just three short (120) of passing current Golden State Warrior JaVale McGee (122) for fifth all-time in career blocks at Nevada.
• Senior Marcus Marshall (245, 21st), sophomore Jordan Caroline (228, 60th) and junior Elijah Foster (225, 64th) all rank in the top 65 in the nation when it comes to total minutes played.
• Senior Marcus Marshall and sophomores Lindsey Drew and Cameron Oliver were named to the Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament team. Over the course of the tournament, Marshall averaged 23 points a game, Oliver 14.7 with 8.3 rebounds and Drew was a strong playmaker 8.33 assists per game.
• Senior Marcus Marshall topped 20 points for the fourth straight game and the fifth of this season against Iona on Nov. 26. Marshall is now averaging 20.4 points per game to rank second in the Mountain West.
• Marshall's 21 points against Iona in the GAS championship game continued his streak of scoring in double figures in every game this season.
• Senior D.J. Fenner scored a season-high 18 points against the Iona Gaels on Nov. 26. His performance came after he contributed all of Nevada's 15 bench points over three games.
• The 11 players that entered the game for the Wolf Pack in the Great Alaska Shootout championship game was the second-most this season. Nevada put 12 players on the court against Oregon State.
• Nevada has had at least four players score in double figures in every game this season since the season opener against Saint Mary's.
• Four of Nevada's five starters against Buffalo played the entire second half. Marcus Marshall, who was in foul trouble, played 15 minutes.
• Nevada drained 11 shots from three against the Buffalo Bulls on Nov. 25, tying the season high set against Oakland on Nov. 23.
• Sophomore Cameron Oliver recorded his first double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds against the Bulls on Nov. 25. Oliver nearly averaged a double-double last season with 13.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
• Lindsey Drew continued to move the ball around the court, recording eight assists against Iona on Nov. 256 The sophomore leads the conference with 6.3 assists per game, good for 22nd in the nation.
• Cameron Oliver tied his season high in blocks with five against Buffalo on Nov. 25. Oliver opened the season with five against Saint Mary's on Nov. 11.
• Five Wolf Pack players are averaging more than 10 points a game: Marcus Marshall (20.4 ppg), Cameron Oliver (16.7 ppg), Elijah Foster (12.0 ppg), D.J. Fenner (10.4) and Jordan Caroline (10.0 ppg) are averaging double figures.
• Oliver hit 20 or more points in a game for the ninth time of his career and the eighth time in the last 15 games with 22 against Oakland on Nov. 24.
• The Wolf Pack scored a season high 91 points in the win over Iona, 89 came from the starters.
• The Wolf Pack's five players with more than 10 points against Iona at home on Nov. 20 is the most this season. All five starters in Oliver (22), Foster (21), Marshall (20), Caroline (15), and Drew (11) had double figures in the score column for the Wolf Pack.
• Caroline ended the game vs. Iona with 15 points and 13 rebounds, both season highs for the sophomore.
• The 25 point win over the Oregon State Beavers on Nov. 18 gave Nevada its biggest win over a Power 5 school since defeating the Oregon State Beavers by 28, 75-47, on Nov. 15, 2006.
• The victory over the Beavers on Nov. 18 gave Nevada its first win over a Power 5 school since defeating Washington 76-73 on Dec. 8, 2012.
• The Wolf Pack's 23 point lead vs. OSU on Nov. 18 was its biggest advantage at the half this season.
