RENO, Nev. - After a week break to prepare, the University of Nevada men's tennis team will compete in the ITA Mountain Regional, Oct. 19-23 at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas. Winners of the regional will advance to the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., November 3-6, 2016.
Freshman Julien Evrard and sophomore Jonathan Aremon top the team with 6-3 singles records. Evrard reached the semifinals of the Dar Walters Fall Classic at Boise State in the Pack's last event.
Three Pack players Robert Margitfalvi (5-3), Kostya Nesterenko (5-4) and Peter O'Donovan (5-4) have five singles victories in the fall.
Head coach Sylvain Malroux has used nine different doubles combinations this season. Two of the teams are 2-1 on the season, O'Donovan and Alex Turc along with Aremon and Sandro Lena.
