RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's will compete in the USTA/ITA Regionals being hosted by the University of New Mexico at the McKinnon Family Stadium and the Linda Estes Tennis Center. The five-day events gets underway in Albuquerque, N.M on Wednesday morning.

Last season the Pack's doubles team of Blaga Delic and Sheila Morales won the USTA/ITA Regionals in Las Vegas. With the victory the Wolf Pack duo advanced to the 2015 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., November 12-15. They posted a record of 1-2.

The Wolf Pack opened the 2016-17 season at the Cal Nike Invitational, Sept. 30-Oct. 2 with all seven of the members of the team competing.

Junior Claudia Herrero had the most individual success posting a record of 2-1. Herrero teamed with freshman Milena Achlamov in doubles and finished second in the gold consolation finals. The duo went 2-2 on the weekend.

Carlijn Ketting and Sara Korzeniecki each went 1-1 in singles play.

Ketting and Adriana Gergelyova went 2-2 in doubles action.
