LOGAN, Utah (AP) D.J. Fenner scored 21 points to lead five players in double figures as Nevada downed Utah State 89-84 on Saturday night.

Marqueze Coleman added 20 points for the Wolf Pack (13-8, 5-4 Mountain West Conference). Tyron Criswell had 19 points, Cameron Oliver had 16 points and Eric Cooper Jr. chipped in 13.

Criswell sank a pair of 3-pointers and Oliver hit another as part of an 11-2 run midway through the first half that gave Nevada a 27-22 lead with 8:19 to go before halftime.

Utah State trailed by 14 at the break and opened the second half on a 17-10 run that closed the gap to seven, 59-52, with 15:36 to go. The Aggies (11-9, 3-6) tied it 78-78 on a jumper by Shane Rector with 3:19 left but could not overtake the Wolf Pack in the stretch.

Chris Smith scored 19 points for Utah State.

D.J. Fenner's 21 points led the team and it was his third time topping the team in scoring.
• Fenner scored 16 of his points in the second half.
• Fenner's 21 points is his third highest scoring game at Nevada.
Eric Cooper, Jr. has scored in double figures in the last four road games.
• The Wolf Pack's five Mountain West wins equals the total of last season.
• The 13 wins is four more than the team totaled all last season.
• The Pack is 4-6 on the road and last season went 2-11.
