RENO, Nev. - The Nevada football team will host open tryouts on Friday, Feb. 12 at Wolf Pack Park. The tryouts are open to currently enrolled, full-time University of Nevada students.
Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 12 while the tryout will start at 3 p.m. at Wolf Pack Park. Each participant must bring the following documents to register; a completed Nevada sports physical form, results of a sickle cell blood test, a proof of insurance form and a copy of an insurance card, and a completed Nevada waiver form.
The Wolf Pack coaching staff will be evaluating every defensive position and every offensive position except for quarterbacks. Nevada will host an open tryout for quarterbacks, kickers, punters and long snappers on March 3 with details of that tryout yet to be determined.
