RENO, Nev. (AP) RENO, Nev. (AP) - Senior Marqueze Coleman scored 23 points and his 3-pointer with 22 seconds left helped the Nevada men's basketball team defeat Wyoming 71-68 on Saturday afternoon at Lawlor Events Center.

With the victory, Nevada (9-5, 1-1 MW) matches its win total from last season and improves to 6-0 at Lawlor. The Pack's 6-0 home record is its best mark since the 2009-10 season.

Freshman Cameron Oliver scored 15 points and eight rebounds to help lead Nevada and sophomore Elijah Foster matched his career-high with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor.

Coleman scored 13 of Nevada's final 19 points and had 17 in the second half. His final 3 put the Wolf Pack up 68-64, and he shot 3 for 4 from the free-throw line to seal the win.

The Wolf Pack raced to an early 9-2 lead before the Cowboys used a 12-5 run to tie it at 14 with 11:27 to play before the break.

Wyoming led 37-34 at the half, but Nevada started the half with a 10-0 run and never trailed. The Cowboys cut its deficit to two twice inside four minutes to play but the Pack had answers both time in two free throws from senior Tyron Criswell and Coleman's clutch 3-pointer.

Josh Adams led Wyoming (7-8, 0-2) with 26 points.

The Wolf Pack next travels to Fresno State for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

-The crowd of 6,317 is the largest crowd at Lawlor Events Center this season.
