RENO, Nev. - The Nevada men's golf team saw freshman Travis Fredborg cap a solid performance with a tie for 14th at the Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico on Saturday.

The Wolf Pack took 12th place overall in a tough field at the UNM Championship Course. Fredborg, a freshman from Canada, shot 74 on Saturday and finished with an even-par 216 for the tournament. Junior Nick Fuller shot 77 on Saturday and tied for 49th.

Sophomore Jooho Lee was a shot back of Fuller and tied for 56th while Grant Booth tied for 77th. Corey Eddings came back after a tough day Friday and matched Fredborg's 74 on Saturday.

The host Lobos ran away with the team title and UNM's Andrej Bevins won medalist honors.

Nevada will return to action Oct. 5 at the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno, Calif.
