Sept. 24, 2015

In partnership with the leadership of the ASUN and the Joe Crowley Student Union, the following protocols will be in place for student ticket distribution and student seating at Mackay Stadium for the Wolf Pack's game against UNLV on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Student Ticket Distribution
Students with a valid University ID can pick up a ticket for the game beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 at the theater box office on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union. The student ID will be swiped to confirm validity and the student will receive an actual paper ticket for the game. In addition to the ticket, which will be marked as "ST," students should be prepared to show student ID at the gates at Mackay on gameday.

Approximately 4,000 tickets will be distributed beginning at 7 a.m. at the Joe. Tickets will be available, while supplies last, until 3 p.m. With distribution at the theater box office, the line for tickets will begin near the Cantina. Staff from Wolf Pack Athletics and the Joe, along with members of the ASUN and Blue Crew, will be on hand to provide any assistance.

As this game will likely sell out, the entire student ticket allotment will be available beginning on Monday. If tickets from this allotment are still available after 3 p.m. on Monday, further distribution venues will be announced via Wolf Pack Athletics. There will not be any student tickets available on gameday unless tickets from this allotment are still available.

Because of the demand for student tickets, it is understood that many students will line up earlier than 7 a.m. to receive their tickets. The JCSU and athletics department have partnered with the Cantina to provide discounted breakfast burritos for just $3 to students who are in line. The first 50 students in line will receive free burritos. Soft drink products will be distributed for free, courtesy of Pepsi. Music will also be available, as will security services and portable restrooms as the Joe does not open until 7 a.m.

One ticket will be distributed per person and per ID - no exceptions. All tickets should be treated like cash. The University of Nevada is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced tickets.

Each student ticket will be marked with a specific student section at Mackay Stadium and student ticketholders will be required to sit in the section as designated on their ticket. Tickets will be distributed by section in the following order:

  • North End Zone
  • Section H
  • South End Zone (the southwest corner will be reserved for students)
  • Section 1
  • Section 2
  • Section 6
  • Section 8
  • Section 9
Student Seating in Mackay Stadium
Kickoff against the Rebels is schedule for 4 p.m. and students will be able to enter Mackay Stadium two hours prior to kickoff as gates will open at 2 p.m.

Students should be prepared to show valid University ID at the gate when presenting their ticket for admission. Students must sit in the section designated by their ticket.
