RENO, Nev. - The Nevada volleyball team enters the Sacramento State Invitational on a four-match winning streak as they are set to take on the Hornets at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, and Santa Clara at 10 a.m. and Kent State at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Sacramento State will look to avenge last season's loss to the Wolf Pack, a 3-0 sweep at the Virginia Street Gym on Sept. 9.
Last weekend, Nevada went 3-0 at the Wolf Pack Classic with wins over Weber State, Montana State and Miami (OH). The victories over the Bobcats and Red Hawks were both in straight sets, the first time since 2007 that the Wolf Pack swept opponents in back-to-back matches.
After last weekend, the Wolf Pack is now on a four-match winning streak, its longest streak since winning four-straight in 2010.

Kasser Digs Into the Top-10 • Senior
Kara Kasser moved into the top-10 in program history with 1,010 digs after posting 49 over the weekend.
• Kasser, who currently sits in ninth all-time, becomes only the 10th player in the history of Wolf Pack volleyball to surpass 1,000 career digs.
• This season, Kasser ranks sixth in the Mountain West with 126 digs.
Groenweghe Sets Career-Highs at Wolf Pack Classic • Junior
Kathryn Groenweghe was arguable the top peformer for Nevada at the Wolf Pack Classic.
• She posted 12 kills and hit at a .455 clip, both career and match-highs, in Nevada's 3-2 win over Weber State on Sept. 11.
• Hit over .400 and matched her career-high again in the Pack's win over Miami (OH) where she registered a .455 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks.
• Racked up a team-high six-blocks in a sweep of Montana State and helped the Pack out-block its opponents in every match over the three-matches.
