Final Results Get Acrobat Reader

RENO, Nev. - Caryn Khoo tied for 28th individually as the Nevada women's golf team took 15th place Tuesday at the season-opening Colonel Wollenberg's Ptarmigan Ram Classic hosted by Colorado State in Fort Collins.

High scores were the theme of the day up and down the leaderboard as the teams played the final round at Ptarmigan Country Club. Nevada's team score of 317 was just three off the team score of fifth-place Long Beach State.

Freshman Chaithra Katamneni had the Wolf Pack's low round of the day with a 78 while Khoo and frosh Kaitlin Collom each recorded 79s on Tuesday. Bertille DuPont came in with an 81 while Hannah Gregg shot 84 to conclude their first tournaments with the Pack.

BYU won the title, followed back San Jose State and Cal.

Nevada will be off for nearly two weeks until it returns to action Sept. 28 at the Rose City Collegiate, hosted by Portland State.
