2015 Soccer Schedule
RENO, Nev. -- An 11-game home slate highlights the 2015 Nevada soccer schedule, head coach Dr. Melissa Price announced Wednesday morning
After a season plagued with injuries, Price, who enters her sixth season at the helm, and the Wolf Pack will look to improve upon a four-win campaign in 2014. Things get started Aug. 15 as the Pack heads to Stockton, Calif. for an exhibition match at Pacific to tune up before regular season action begins.
As has been the case for the past couple of seasons, Nevada will host a game in town at Moana Field. This year's contest at Moana will feature the season opener Aug. 21 against Gonzaga. The Pack remains at home the following weekend and will be back on its regular home turf of Mackay Stadium to host Montana.
As the month of September rolls around so does tournament play as Nevada journeys to Moraga, Calif. for the Saint Mary's Tournament to face host Saint Mary's on Sept. 4 and UC Irvine two days later. The Pack remains on the road for its final non-conference road game the next weekend to play at UC Davis.
Starting with a match on Sept. 13 against UTEP, the Wolf Pack will begin its longest home stand of the season. Nevada continues the home series the weekend of the 18th when it welcomes in Sacramento State and Hawaii to close out non-conference play.
Mountain West action begins the final weekend of September as Colorado College makes its first trip to Reno, along with the Air Force Falcons. The Pack hits the road for a pair of league games as October gets underway, traveling to New Mexico and defending conference champion San Diego State.
Back in Reno on Oct. 9, Nevada will begin its final stretch of home matches for the 2015 season as Utah State and Boise State visit for the weekend. The Wolf Pack concludes its home slate the following weekend, squaring off against Colorado State and Wyoming.
Nevada will be on the road for its final three regular season matches of the year. The weekend of Oct. 23, the Pack heads west to battle Fresno State and San Jose State and will wrap up the regular season Oct. 30 down in Las Vegas against in-state rival UNLV.
Mountain West Tournament play begins Nov. 3 in San Diego, Calif.
