Day One Results

RANCHO SANTE FE, Calif. - The Nevada women's golf team will take on Long Beach State on Tuesday after falling in the first round Monday at the SDSU Farms Invitational.

Junior Caryn Khoo scored a huge win for the Wolf Pack, topping UNLV's Dana Finkelstein 1&2 in the first round on Monday. Finkelstein is ranked No. 13 in the nation and the win by Khoo gave Nevada a big push but the Pack came up just short, losing 3-2 to the Rebels.

Senior Bethany Wurster notched the other win for the Wolf Pack, beating Mayko Chwen Wang 1 up in their first round match at Farms Golf Club. But Celyn Khoo (4&3), Jordan Keyser (5&4) and Nikki Prichard (2&1) all dropped their matches.
