Nevada chased junior RHP Jake Jenkins in the first inning, taking 34 pitches in five at bats that each resulted in runners on base. Senior LHP Barry Timko relieved Stolo, getting two outs while earning the victory on the mound. Juniors Zach Wilkins and Cameron Rowland pitched well in relief of Timko. Wilkins pitched in the fifth and sixth innings, allowing no runs and no hits through four batters faced.
