NEW YORK - The University of Nevada's women's tennis doubles team of Blaga Delic and Sheila Morales won their consolation match on Friday at the 2015 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. The championships are being played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., November 12-15.
After falling twice on Thursday Delic and Morales needed three sets to earn at 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 victory over Rosalie Willigand Diana Willig of Lynn University. After winning the first set 6-4 the Pack duo lost 4-6 in the second set. They earned the victory with a 10-4 supper set victory. They ended the fall season with a 9-6 overall record.
