RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball coach Jane Albright announced seniors Nyasha LeSure, Kelsey Kaelin and Julia Shelbourn as the team's captains for the 2015-16 season.

"It is no surprise to me that the team put the leadership in the senior's hands," Albright said. "Each one of them has invested greatly in the program and are ready to lead this team both on and off the court."

This is the first team captain honor for all three seniors. Junior T Moe, who was sidelined for the year with a knee injury, will serve as an honorary captain. Experience is a big factor for these three as each of them have seen time in nearly 100 games.

Nevada opens the regular season with a pair of home games this weekend, beginning with San Diego Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and welcomes Montana State on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Friday night is the team's 'We Back Pat' night, supporting former longtime Tennessee head coach Pat Summitt and Alzheimer's research. The first 500 fans inside Lawlor Events Center will receive a free 'We Back Pat' t-shirt. Auction items will be available as well, including a copy of 'Sum It Up' signed by Summitt and a basketball signed by Summitt and Los Angeles Sparks star Candace Parker. For every fan in attendance, Albright will donate $1 to the Pat Summitt Foundation.

Season tickets for women's basketball are just $60 for adults, $55 for youth (8th grade and under) and $40 for seniors (65+). A 'Family 4-Pack' is also available that includes four season tickets for just $99! Call 775.348.PACK or register online for more information.
