RENO, Nev. - After going 2-0 last week with wins over UNLV and Fresno State, the Nevada volleyball team will travel Utah State for a match at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, before taking on Boise State at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The Wolf Pack's 3-1 win over the Rebels on Nov. 5 was the program's first victory over its intrastate rival since 2005. The Rebels had previously taken 20 straight sets from the Pack before Nevada claimed the second set last Thursday.

Nevada's win over Fresno State gave the Pack an 8-3 record at the Virginia Street Gym this season. The 2-0 week also gave the Pack its most conference victories since the it joined the Mountain West in 2012.

Morell Tabbed Player of the Week
• After collecting 52 kills and a .356 hitting percentage in two wins for the Nevada volleyball team last week, junior right side hitter Madison Morell was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week
• Her back-to-back 20+ kill performances helped lead the Pack to wins over Fresno State and UNLV, the program's first win over its intrastate rival in 10 years
• Morell also registered double-doubles in the two victories

Nevada Tops UNLV For First Time In 10 Years
• Junior Madison Morell, sophomore Madison Foley and senior Taylar Rothfuss each posted double-doubles on what was a historic night at Virginia Street Gym last Thursday where the Nevada volleyball team topped intrastate rival UNLV, 3-1 (23-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-21), for the first time since 2005
• Rothfuss was two-shy of tying her career-best with 51 assists and senior Sam Willoughby led the Pack with five blocks
• Morell eclipsed the 20-kill plateau for the third time this season with 25 while Foley lifted the Wolf Pack down the stretch with 17 kills, 13 digs and three service aces
