"The pair did really well at the Nike Cal Berkeley Invitational last weekend," head coach Guillaume Tonelli said. "They are getting a lot of experience at the highest level in NCAA I and we cannot wait to compete at the All-American Championship. They are representing the University of Nevada among the top schools in the nation, and I cannot be any more proud of them."
The Pack duo knocked off the 24th ranked Cal team of Karla Polovic and Klara Fabikova 8-3 in Berekely, Calif. last week. They went 2-1 on the weekend defeating the St. Mary's College doubles team before falling in the quarterfinals to a duo from Arizona State.
Last season they posted a 16-6 overall record, went 14-4 in dual action and 4-1 in Mountain West play. They earned All-Mountain West honors and received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. The two were one of 32 teams selected to compete at the NCAA Championship in Waco, Texas.
