Final Results 
FRESNO, Calif. - Grant Booth capped a strong tournament with his third straight round in the 60s on Tuesday as his 68 propelled the Nevada sophomore to a tie for sixth place at the Nick Watney Invitational.
Booth led Nevada to a fifth-place finish overall, the best tournament of the year so far for the Nevada men. Nevada closed with a 278 team score on Tuesday as it moved into fifth place overall in the 13-team event.
Sophomore Jooho Lee closed with a 68 on Tuesday to move up to a tie for 24th. Freshman Travis Fredborg and junior Nick Fuller toed for 34th while sophomore Corey Eddings took 58ths. David Hinitz, playing as an individual, placed 79th.
Saint Mary's won the team title going away by eight strokes over host Fresno State. Cal was third, followed by Sacramento State and then the Pack.
For Booth, it marked the best finish of his career overall. He finished seventh at last season's Mountain West Championships.
Nevada returns to action next week at Cal's Alistar Mackenzie Invitational in the Bay Area.
