FRESNO, Calif. - Grant Booth fired back-to-back rounds in the 60s and the sophomore is in sixth place individually heading into the final round of the Nick Watney Invitational, hosted by Fresno State.

Booth opened at the par-71 Fort Washington Country Club with a 68 in the first round on Monday and then came back in round two with a 69. At 5 under, he is five shots off the lead held by Pavan Sagoo of Saint Mary's.

Booth's team low of 68 was matched in the second round by freshman Travis Fredborg, who opened with a 74 but bounced back to move up to a tie for 24th place. Junior Nick Fuller and sophomore Jooho Lee are tied in36th place and Corey Eddings is a shot back of them, tied for 47th. David Hinitz is competing as an individual and he shot rounds of 77 and 79 on Monday.

Nevada is tied for sixth place as a team at 565 through two rounds. The Wolf Pack is 12 shots off of the lead, held by Saint Mary's at 553. The 13-team field is comprised of host Fresno State, BYU, California, Cal Poly, Columbia, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
