DAVIS, Calif. - Senior Ryan Andrada fell in the A singles final on Sunday at the UC Davis Invitational. Andrada won the first set from Cal's JT Nishimura 6-3 but dropped the next two 6-1, 6-0 in the A singles final.
Robert Margitfalvi and Peter O'Donovan won the B doubles consolation. The Pack duo won a pair of matches on Sunday to win earn the title.
Nevada's Mile Cilic team with UC Davis' Everett Maltby to advance to the B doubles final. They lost 8-6 to Tommy Lam and Bryce McKelvie from UCD.
Four Nevada players played in the C singles round robin on Sunday. Andrew Poustie earned a victory 6-4, 6-1 over Stanford's Brandon Sutter. Trailing in the first set 5-2 Margitfalvi retired with an injury in his match with Pacific's Lance Ngo.
Jonathan Aremon fell 6-2, 6-4 to UCD's Jesse Ross. Peter O'Donovan lost in three sets, 6-1, 3-6 and 1-0 to Bernardo Oliveira from Pacific.
Next action for the Pack is at the Pacific Invitational Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in Stockton, Calif.
