RENO, Nev. - The Nevada volleyball team will go through a tough stretch this week as the Wolf Pack faces two of the top three teams in the Mountain West on the road in Wyoming and No. 20 Colorado State. The Pack will take on the Cowgirls on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and the Rams at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The first meeting of the season between the Pack and the Cowgirls saw Nevada's first win over a ranked team since 2006 and was the program's first-ever victory against Wyoming.
Nevada is coming off a 1-1 week where it topped Air Force, 3-0, for the second time this season. The Wolf Pack defense stepped up and held the Falcons to a .139 hitting percentage for the match, a season-low in conference play this season.
