HUGE RALLY LIFTS NEVADA PAST HAWAI'I
The Rainbow Warriors scored the first 17 points of the game and led, 17-0, at the 5:24 mark in the second quarter … The Wolf Pack out-scored the Rainbow Warriors by a 30-3 margin in the final 35 minutes of the game … This was the Pack's first victory this season when trailing at the end of the third quarter.
SEAU STUFFS HAWAI'I WITH FOUR SACKS
Junior DE Ian Seau tallied a career-high 4.0 sacks to lead Nevada's defense … Seau's four sacks are the second-most in program history and is just a half sack away from Jorge Cordova's program record of 4.5, which was set against Washington on Oct. 11, 2003 … Seau also forced and recovered his own fumble in his final sack of the game, which occurred with less than a minute remaining in the game while Hawai'i had the ball at Nevada's 22-yard line … Seau became the ninth player in MW history with at least four sacks in a single game, while he was just half a sack away from the MW record.
RUSHING DOMINANCE
The Wolf Pack posted a 244-34 advantage in rushing today … Nevada's limited Hawai'i to 1.4 yards per carry with 34 rushing yards on 24 attempts … The Pack's 34 rushing yards allowed was its fewest in the Brian Polian era and the fewest since limiting San Jose State to 30 rushing yards on Nov. 8, 2009 … Nevada's 244 yards was its third-highest rushing total of the season … Nevada improves to 4-0 this season when out-rushing its opponent … In the Polian era, Nevada is 13-2 when leading in rushing yards and is 12-3 when rushing for at least 200 yards.
WOLF PACK INTERCEPTS 'BOWS THREE TIMES
Nevada intercepted senior QB Max Wittek three times, setting a season-high in interceptions … Senior LB Jordan Dobrich, junior CB Elijah Mitchell and redshirt freshman Asauni Rufus each tallied their first career interceptions … The Pack's three interceptions were its most since intercepting three passes at UNLV last season on Nov. 29, 2014.
BUTLER CARRIES NEVADA PAST RAINBOW WARRIORS
Sophomore RB James Butler ran 28 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns … Butler set a career-high with 28 carries in the victory … His 134 yards also marked his fourth 100+ rushing game of the season and the sixth of his career … Butler also matched a career-high with two rushing touchdowns - his most since rushing for two scores last year at BYU.
GIPSON SETS SEASON-HIGH
Junior TE Jarred Gipson set season-high totals with five receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown … Gipson's five catches were his most catching eight passes last year at Arizona while his 57 receiving yards were his most since 74 last year against Boise State … Gipson is now tied for the team-lead with four receiving touchdowns on the season.
ZUZO SHINES ON SPECIAL TEAMS
Junior PK Brent Zuzo split the uprights from 40, 29 yards 30 yards to match a career-high with three field goals … Zuzo has connected for three FGs in a single game three times in his career, while he last did it on Nov. 1, 2014 against San Diego State … Zuzo improves to 10-of-11 on the season and 38-of-46 on his career … With 12 points in today's game, Zuzo surpassed Damon Fine (2001-04) for fifth in Nevada's record book in career kicker scoring with 215 points … With under two minutes remaining in the first half, Zuzo recovered his own onside kick, which set up his 40-yard field goal with 53 seconds remaining to pull Nevada within 17-10.

Junior RB Don Jackson is now just 37 yards away from reaching 2,000 career rushing yards … In 30 games with the Wolf Pack, Jackson has rushed 435 times for 1,963 yards and 18 touchdowns … Jackson is on course to become the 15th player in program history to reach 2,000 career rushing yards … Jackson ran 20 times for 61 yards against Hawai'i.
