Reno, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team makes their way to Albuquerque, N.M. to play New Mexico and North Texas. The Pack heads into the weekend 1-1 on the season.

Two weekends ago the Pack left Southern California, 1-1. Nevada dominated against UC Riverside by a score of 7-0 giving them all the confidence going in to the next days match. The Pack then traveled to Cal State Fullerton, and had a hard fought battle, but came up short by a score of 4-3.

The ladies have had two weeks to prepare for New Mexico and North Texas. They have been performing on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom preparing for this weekend. Their match against New Mexico is an important one, with it being the Pack's first conference match of the Spring 2015 season.

"We have been practicing hard, with it being our the first Mountain West opponent this weekend" head coach Guillaume Tonelli said. "We are trying to be as prepared as possible, getting ready physically and mentally, and the rest will be a matter of fighting". North Texas is ranked No. 70 and is led by head coach Sujay Lama, with a record of 1-3.  New Mexico is 3-1 and is led by head coach Erika Perkins Jasper. New Mexico defeated the Pack last season 4-2 in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
