Aug. 31, 2014 RENO, Nev. - The weekly Blitz Luncheons with second-year football coach Brian Polian will begin Sept. 8 at the Peppermill Casino in Reno.
Polian will review the previous week's game and go over game film at each game and hold a question and answer session with the fans.
While the luncheons have been rebranded alongside the donor club - The Blitz - that supports Wolf Pack football, fans don't have to be a member of The Blitz to attend the weekly in-season luncheons. They are open to the public and no RSVP is required.
Doors at the Peppermill will open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon program begins at noon. Luncheon cost is $17 at the door. The room will be announced the day of the luncheon.
The 2014 Blitz Luncheons will be held each Monday following Nevada football games with luncheons scheduled for Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29; Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27; and Nov. 3, 17 and 24th. The Sept. 22nd luncheon will be held at the Carson Valley Inn and there is no luncheon on Nov. 10.
