RENO, Nev. - The Mountain West released its 2014-15 women's basketball schedule with Nevada slated for 18 conference games.

"We are excited as a program to release this schedule to our fans," head coach Jane Albright said. "Our student-athletes and staff have been working hard to prepare for what we know will be an exciting and successful season. Buy your season tickets and enjoy the ride!"

While the rest of the league will open conference play on Dec. 31, the Wolf Pack received an opening-week bye and will play its first conference game at Air Force on Saturday, Jan. 3. Nevada swept the Falcons in the season series last year and is riding a three-game win streak dating back to 2012-13.

Governor's Series points will be up for grabs when the Pack opens the home portion of the conference schedule against in-state rival UNLV on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Lawlor Events Center. Nevada then travels to Fresno State a few days later on Jan. 10 to battle the defending Mountain West Tournament champion Bulldogs.

The team returns to Reno on Jan. 14 to take on the league's top 2013-14 regular season team, Colorado State. The Wolf Pack and Rams met just one time in 2013-14 with CSU defeating Nevada in Fort Collins. The Pack will be in search of its first win over the Rams since the 1985-86 season.

Nevada enjoys another bye weekend Jan. 17 before hitting the road to Logan, Utah for a showdown with Utah State on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The Pack snapped a five-game skid to the Aggies by sweeping the season series last year.

Fresno State makes its way to Reno on Saturday, Jan. 24 for the second matchup of the season with the Wolf Pack. Last year at Lawlor, Nevada came away with a thrilling 63-60 win over the Bulldogs. The following Wednesday, Jan. 28, the Pack will look to grab a few more Governor's Series points when the team travels to Las Vegas to take on UNLV.

The month of January concludes with a visit from Wyoming on Jan. 31. A season ago, the Pack and Wyoming split the season series, snapping a seven-game slide to the Cowgirls. February kicks off with a trip to San Diego State on Feb. 4. The last time these two teams met, Nevada came out on top of a 53-48 Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals victory back in March.

Nevada enjoys some extra time at home as the team welcomes San Jose State to Reno on Feb. 7 and Utah State the following Wednesday, Feb. 11. In San Jose State's most recent visit to Lawlor, the Wolf Pack put up 101 points in a conference-opening win last season.

Following a two-game homestand, Nevada hits the road for back-to-back contests at New Mexico (Feb. 14) and at Wyoming (Feb. 18). The Pack will play the Lobos just once this season after sweeping the season series in 2013-14.

Boise State and Air Force come to town Feb. 21 and 25, respectively, for another two-game homestand at Lawlor. Like New Mexico, the Wolf Pack will play the Broncos just once in the 2014-15 season. The final road swing of the conference schedule takes Nevada to San Jose State Feb. 28 and to Colorado State on March 3. The Wolf Pack wraps up the regular season at home on March 6 with a visit from San Diego State.

The Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship will be held from March 9-13. Season tickets for women's basketball are just $60 for adults, $45 for youth (8th grade and under) and $35 for seniors (65+). Fans can save even more by purchasing a Family Pack, which includes two adult and two youth season tickets for only $99 (that's $111 savings)!
