Wolf Pack Silver and Blue Spring Football Game Tailgate Throwdown Rules
You have been cooking the best tailgate food for years ... Now is your chance to win the tailgating championship and enjoy the bragging rights that come with it!
The Tailgate Throwdown cooking competition will take place before the Silver and Blue Spring Game
April 26, 2014
Cooking to start at 8 a.m. and judging will take place at 12:30 p.m.
North parking lot behind the scoreboard at Mackay Stadium

1. Entry forms must be submitted by April 18, 2014.
2. Contestants must provide their own cooking apparatus, tables, chairs and ingredients.
3. A 10 x 10 space will be issued to each entry. Please decorate your area with your best tailgate display.
4. All judging will be held at the booths.
5. Contestant must make enough to samples for 100 lucky Wolf Pack culinary fans.
6. A judges' choice will be awarded as well as a fans' choice.
7. If you would like to share your recipe, please bring it with you and we will post it on our website.
8. This competition will be conducted according to the following rules:
a. All protein entries must be cooked on site.
b. Desserts and side dishes may be prepared off-site.
c. Contestants may season or prepare meats as the contestant sees fit.
d. Protein cooking can only be done on a charcoal, propane, or wood fired device provided by the contestant.
e. Proper disposal of charcoal is the responsibility of the contestant.
f. The cooking contestant is responsible for observing accepted and prudent temperature and sanitary requirements.
g. Contestants may start setting up on Saturday, April 26th at 8 a.m. You must be ready by 12:30 p.m. for the official judging.
h. Judges will go from booth to booth. Plates, containers, and utensils will be provided by Wolf Pack Athletics.
i. Contestants must be willing to taste their own tailgate entry.
The decisions of the judges are final. Wolf Pack celebrity judges will vote for the best tailgate food best based on the following criteria:
? Aroma, consistency, color, taste, after taste, tailgate decorations, and name of tailgate food
All fans tasting will be given a ticket to vote for their favorite tailgate entry. The contestant with the most votes at the end of the competition will be the winner.
