In preparation for the upcoming women's basketball season, the University of Nevada media services department will be putting out a daily `Meet the Pack' web segment, featuring all members of the Wolf Pack women's basketball team. Our final Wolf Pack student-athlete to be featured is freshman Mariah Williams, a native of Richmond, Calif. Williams joins the Pack from Vanden High School where she was league MVP her junior season.

What is your most memorable basketball memory?

Tearing my ACL, life changing event.

If you weren't playing basketball, what sport would you play?
Volleyball or Football

Where did you grow up? And what is the best thing about your hometown?
I grew up in the Bay Area (Richmond, Calif.) - best thing about my hometown is it is very diverse.

Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
When you look good and feel good you play better.

What do you do when you're not playing basketball?
Study, read and watch Netflix

Who is your favorite NBA/WNBA player?
LeBron James

What is your favorite part about the game?
My favorite part about the game is being able to compete.

What do you like most about Nevada?
The coaching staff, we get a lot of support

What is the most interesting thing that you want Wolf Pack fans to know about you?
I have two awesome little brothers that love to play football.
