RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's basketball team held the Academy of Art to 24 percent shooting during Friday night's 74-51 exhibition victory.

Through two 20 minute periods, the Urban Knights connected on just 18-of-75 shooting and were held to 18.2 percent in the opening half. The Wolf Pack offense on the other hand shot 45.3 percent for the game and nearly 50 percent in the second half.

The Pack's defense held true on the boards as well as the team pulled down 40 defensive rebounds and totaled 59 boards for the game, outrebounding the Urban Knights, 59-41.

Nevada posted three scorers in double digits and was led by junior T Moe, who collected 17 points and fell one rebound shy of a double-double, and two assists shy of a triple-double. Junior Nyasha LeSure went 7-of-13 from the floor to post a 16-point night and added eight rebounds. Senior Mimi Mungedi also finished in double digits with 11 points.

One of the new faces this season, freshman Teige Zeller, recorded eight points from the bench on 4-of-5 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. All-in-all, 13 Nevada student-athletes found their way into the game as part of the final tune-up before regular season action gets underway.

Nevada opens the regular season next Friday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. when the Pack welcomes UC Santa Barbara to Lawlor Events Center.
