Day Two Get Acrobat Reader

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Junior Carly Simpson is tied for 14th after the second round of the Price's New Mexico State Invitational, hosted by New Mexico State.

After shooting a one-under 71 in the first round, Simpson fired a two-over 74 and sits at a one-over 145 heading into the final round.

Junior Caryn Khoo is tied for 25th after shooting a two-over 74 in the second round and sits at a four-over 148. Senior Nikki Prichard is tied for 38th with a six-over 150.

Freshman Celyn Khoo is tied for 46th and senior Bethany Wurster is tied for 59th.

Nevada as a team is in 10th with an 18-over 594 after posting a 301 in the second round. Nevada also finished fifth in Par-4 scoring and fourth in pars, with 19 birdies.

Idaho is in first with a five-under 571 after day two. Grand Canyon's Charlotte Jaengkit and BYU's Lea Garner are tied for first individually with a 6-under 138.

The final 18-hole round will be on Wednesday.
