Preseason Press Conference - Coach Albright, Mungedi, Moe and Burns

RENO, Nev. - The Nevada women's basketball team is set to begin official practices Monday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming 2014-15 season.
Leading the Wolf Pack once again is head coach Jane Albright, who enters her seventh season at Nevada and her 31st year as a NCAA head coach. Last year, Albright and her coaching staff led the Pack to a third place finish in the Mountain West after going 18-13 overall and 12-6 in conference play.
Nevada returns 11 student-athletes from last year's squad and adds five newcomers to the program. Highlighting the list of returners are three starters from 2013-14 in seniors Mimi Mungedi and Emily Burns and junior Terilyn Moe.
Mungedi, the MW Co-Defensive Player of the Year, set a Nevada single-season blocking record last year and is 34 blocks shy of establishing the career mark. Burns, another blocking threat, enters her senior year in the top-10 all-time in blocks and finished last season ranked in the top-15 in the league in rebounding. As a sophomore, Moe averaged double-digits with 10.9 points per game and finished the year as one of the MW's top free throw shooters.
Nevada hosts the Academy of the Arts for an exhibition contest at Lawlor Events Center on Friday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Regular season action gets underway the following Friday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. with a home contest against UC Santa Barbara.
