Oct. 24, 2014 In preparation for the upcoming women's basketball season, the University of Nevada media services department will be putting out a daily `Meet the Pack' web segment, featuring all members of the Wolf Pack women's basketball team. Our final senior to feature is Kayla Reeves, a native of Auburn, Calif. Last season was Reeves' first with the Pack after transferring from Sierra College.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
Having the single season 3-point record in high school.
If you weren't playing basketball, what sport would you play?
Soccer
Where did you grow up? And what is the best thing about your hometown?
Auburn, Calif. I like how it has a historical feel to it.
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I have to put my socks, braces and shoes on the same way every time, as well as eat the same food before the game.
What do you do when you're not playing basketball?
I hang out with my friends and family.
Who is your favorite NBA/WNBA player?
Diana Turasi and Paul Pierce
What is your favorite part about the game?
Being a part of a team and working together to achieve our goals.
What do you like most about Nevada?
It's close to home and there are a lot of outdoor activities.
What is the most interesting thing that you want Wolf Pack fans to know about you?
I like to hunt and fish.
