BOISE, Idaho - The University of Nevada soccer team dropped its sixth consecutive match Friday night, 2-0 to Mountain West foe Boise State.

The Wolf Pack (4-13-1, 1-8-0 MW) held the Broncos (7-8-3, 4-5-0 MW) to a scoreless first half and finished tied with BSU at five shots a piece after the first 45 minutes. Two of those five shots came near the end of the opening half as both Chrisalyn Fonte and Madison Lorenzen each fired shots on target with time winding down, but were kept out of the back of the net by BSU goalkeeper Janelle Flores.

Boise State turned it on in the second half, however, outshooting the Pack by a 10-3 margin. The Broncos broke the scoreless tie and put their first of two scores on the board in the 61st minute of play. BSU's Dani Brown connected on a near post, rebound shot from six yards out to register her second goal of the year and give the Broncos the 1-0 advantage. Not long after, Boise State tallied the insurance marker on a free kick from Brooke Heidemann in the 67th minute, putting the Broncos ahead by two goals.

Despite posting 15 total shots in the match, Boise State only managed three of them on target. With the three shots on goal, two of which went for scores, Nevada goalkeeper Devyn Bryar finished the afternoon with one save. The Pack ended the day with eight total shots and forced Flores to make five stops. Lorenzen led the Wolf Pack with three shots, two of which were on goal.

Nevada wraps up the road portion of its schedule with a trip to Logan, Utah this Sunday for a matchup against the Aggies of Utah State. Game time is set for 12 p.m. PST.
